What is employee onboarding software?

Employee onboarding software automates how new hires are enrolled, trained, and tracked through their first weeks — replacing ad-hoc checklists and email with a structured, repeatable plan. What are the benefits of onboarding software?

How is this different from using SharePoint and email for onboarding

SharePoint pages and email threads can hold onboarding content, but they can’t auto-enroll new hires, track completion, send reminders, or show HR who’s finished. Zensai adds that structure and visibility — and because it lives inside SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook, new hires don’t learn a separate system.

Do we need to replace our HRIS?

No. When Entra ID is your source of truth, new hires are provisioned and auto-enrolled with no HRIS connector needed. If your source of truth is Workday, SAP, or another HRIS, Zensai connects to 80+ HRIS systems, so onboarding still triggers automatically when someone is hired.

How does it compare to Microsoft Viva Learning?

What does the AI actually do during onboarding?

The AI does specific named jobs: an AI Tutor answers a new hire’s questions mid-course so they can keep going, and AI-created paths are personalized to the role. It supports the new hire — your L&D team still designs the plan and owns the content, and the activity is tracked for oversight.

Which edition includes onboarding?

How long does it take to go live?
