Your LMS is guessing what your people need to learn

It can assign courses, but it can’t see the skills someone is actually missing — not from their performance reviews, not from their day-to-day work. So the personalized path it recommends is actually a one-size-fits-all. And hand-building individual plans cannot scale.

FAQs

What is adaptive learning?

Adaptive learning adjusts what someone learns next based on their role, current skills, and progress — instead of pushing everyone through the same fixed catalog. In practice, each person follows a personalized learning path that updates as their skills and goals change, so learning stays relevant instead of generic.

What are personalized learning paths?

A personalized learning path is a sequence of learning tailored to an individual’s role, skill gaps, and goals, rather than a one-size-fits-all assignment. Zensai builds them with AI inside Microsoft 365 and keeps them current as skills and priorities shift — including role-based career development paths.

How does the AI learning path generator work?

You set a role or a skills target, and learners use AI to draft a sequenced path of courses and assessment milestones to close the gap. Where learning content isn’t already available in your catalog, AI will suggest content that would help complete the learning path. AI builds the structure, L&D decide where to invest additional resources. It’s an AI learning path generator that gives your team a strong starting point, not a black box.

Is Zensai an adaptive learning LMS?

Yes. Zensai is a full adaptive learning LMS: it manages, delivers, and tracks learning like any LMS, and learning paths adapt to each person’s role and skills. These adaptive learning paths run natively inside Microsoft 365, not as a separate system to log into.

How does Zensai compare to a standalone LMS or Viva Learning?

Standalone platforms like Cornerstone or Docebo bolt AI on and sit outside your Microsoft environment; Viva Learning surfaces content but isn’t a full LMS. Zensai is a full LMS built inside Microsoft 365 — it generates the learning paths with AI and ties them to performance and engagement, so learning isn’t judged in isolation.

Is the AI real, or still on a roadmap — and does it replace L&D?

It’s live and does specific, named jobs: drafting learning paths, answering learner questions mid-course with an AI Tutor, and recommending skills. It assists — your L&D team curates and approves. It doesn’t replace your team’s judgment; it removes the manual training plan-building that struggled to scale beyond roles. Your team still owns strategic decisions on skills prioritization and learning investment.

Which Zensai edition includes personalized learning paths?

They’re part of the Grow edition and above — Grow is the entry edition, where AI- and skills-driven learning paths, the AI Tutor, and native content authoring come in. Scale adds continuous performance; Transform adds engagement. Most teams start at Grow.

How long does it take to implement?

Because Zensai runs inside the Microsoft 365 environment your IT team already manages, there’s no new platform to stand up and no separate security review to clear — most teams are live in weeks, not months. Provisioning runs from Entra ID.

Will people actually use it?

Adoption is where most learning platforms fall down — they’re a separate site people forget to visit. Zensai’s paths live in Teams and Outlook, where your people already work, so learning happens in the flow of the day. There’s no new habit to build.

What do our customers say about Zensai?

Our customers are our best proof, and on G2, that proof comes straight from verified reviews rather than analyst or vendor input. Reviewers point to the same strengths again and again: an experience that feels native to Microsoft 365, a rollout that’s fast and low-friction, and a support team they genuinely trust.
