Straightaway, this integration allowed them to maximize the value of their Microsoft investment and provide healthcare professionals with comprehensive training experience.
By utilizing Learn365, WCH could onboard caregivers from their clients’ facilities, including a wide array of user roles. These users, existing outside the WCH Microsoft 365 instance, were created and managed as guest users, streamlining the process of managing guest accounts for Learn365. In Learn365, courses are easier to build and maintain. As we have had needs, I have entered enhancement requests to which the Learn365 team has been very responsive.
Additionally, healthcare providers and support staff within the healthcare system embraced Learn365. In fact, they had an average of 300 users utilizing the platform at any given time. The integration with Microsoft 365 provided a cohesive learning experience, enabling healthcare professionals to acquire the necessary skills to meet the healthcare needs of diverse populations, including veterans, active-duty service members, national guard, reservists, and their families. Lisa highlights the importance of the user-friendly solution, saying:
We are a very small team with no real IT representation other than myself. My technical skills are very limited. The biggest benefit has been the ability to manage the LMS without having to have an IT degree.
Finally, by completing training modules, hospitals could become Warrior Centric Authorized. Therefore, this would enhance their community benefit missions, reducing readmissions, and attracting more patients from these diverse populations.
